Your first prediction

This draft describes the current testnet flows for Base Sepolia and Solana Devnet.

TBC before publication: the official application URL, supported wallet instructions, and how to obtain the correct test collateral and network tokens. Also TBC: the applicable fee, minimum stake and pool limits, and the participation deadline with its time zone.

Steps

1. Choose the environment and connect your wallet. Check the selected network and wallet account. Changing the market environment in the application does not necessarily change your wallet's network.
2. Prepare the required assets. You need the market's collateral token for your stake and the network's native token for transaction costs. Solana may also require funds for account creation. These costs are separate from the stake.
3. Open a market and check the round. Confirm the asset, trading date, participation deadline and time zone. The round must still accept predictions when your transaction executes. Review the applicable fee, minimum stake and pool limits.
4. Enter your prediction and stake. Review the selected percentage range and amount. Where a projected payout is available, read its assumptions. A projection can change as the pool changes.
5. Review and submit using the appropriate network flow. On EVM, insufficient token allowance requires an approval transaction before the prediction transaction. Your wallet may therefore ask for two confirmations. On Solana, run Prepare & simulate, review the result, then use Confirm & place to authorize submission. Preparation and simulation do not themselves place a prediction.
6. Wait for confirmation and check your position. Approval alone does not mean the prediction was placed. Confirm that the prediction transaction succeeded. If a transaction's outcome is uncertain, check its status before submitting again.

Network flows

Neither a successful simulation nor an approval transaction is proof of a completed prediction. Only a confirmed prediction transaction records a position in the round.

After confirmation

A confirmed prediction commits your stake to that round. The current flow does not provide cancellation or early withdrawal. Return to the market's round page after final settlement to claim an available payout, or after a void decision to request a refund.
