Quickstart
Get started with Timu as a trader, LP, or market participant.
Start using Timu
To use a Timu price market, connect a wallet, choose a supported network, and get or deposit collateral supported by the pool.
1. Connect your wallet
Use the wallet button in the app to connect and switch to the network where the market is deployed. Local and testnet environments may show a mint action for test collateral.
2. Choose a price market
Choose an oracle-priced market and check its collateral, market status, position mode, and leverage conditions.
3. Approve collateral
Most actions require an ERC-20 approval before the first trade or liquidity deposit. Check the token, amount, and chain before you sign.
4. Trade or provide liquidity
- For price markets, open a long or short position, then monitor P&L, health ratio, and liquidation risk.
- For liquidity, understand how your capital earns fees and absorbs trader risk in the price pool.
- If the price market supports fee sharing, you may also need to opt into the fee pool. Check the pool status and lock restrictions before removing liquidity.
5. Track your positions
Use Portfolio to see active price positions and LP exposure. Some historical or demo areas may depend on data services or test data, so always confirm the connected network and market state.
